How to Get Started

This page details a step-by-step guide on how to get started and become and informed user of the GIO Imagery Service.

Step One: Determine Eligibility

Only those working for a Georgia Governmental Entity are allowed access to the imagery. To determine if you work for one of these entities please view the governmental entity list.

Step Four: Register for an account

Follow the link to create a unique user account.

Step Five: Receive your unique web address

After you have registered, you will receive a quad-word string via the email you used to sign up in the registration form. The email will come from “Imagery Appliance, no-reply@appgeo.com ”

Step Six: Add the WMTS or WMS string to your favorite application

After you have received your unique quad- word string, follow these tutorials to add the WMTS service to your application. Once you have added the service you will be ready to use the service.
