The City of Columbs, GA is seeking a GIS Coordinator.
- GISP Preferred
- Works with GIS Manager for the vision for the GIS Division in accordance with the Departmental Vision, Goals, and Objectives.
- Coordinates the day-to-day operations of the GIS division.
- Coordinates ongoing GIS projects using current acceptable project management methodology.
- Plans future projects for GIS.
- Coordinates GIS activities with other departments and divisions, the general public, vendors, and consultants.
- Administers the GIS databases, network, and applications.
- Assists the general public and other departments with GIS and addressing related problems.
- Trains, assigns, supervises, evaluates, and disciplines personnel.
- Provide regular updates to the GIS Steering Committee.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
